It's important to set a few consistently applied ground rules: 1. Make family time a must - set aside a weekly "family time" activity that is based on interaction - a board game, or cooking together, karaoke 2. Learn together - particularly on topics such as listening, language styles, etc. Exchange articles, videos that help all members understand 3. Try having a common group chat - this allows news to be exchanged, as well as everyday comments, jokes, news 4. Radio silence corners - make a certain part of the house a no technology zone, but it has to be a space that is used commonly. 5. Have a charging station - identify one spot in the house where all technology is charged for the night, away from beds, and living areas.
